The Companies tab on the left-side menu provides a comprehensive overview of all companies you have access to, displaying key details and management options. This guide will walk you through the information available and explain how to navigate and manage companies effectively.
Key Information Available in the Companies Tab
In the Companies tab, you can view the following information for each company:
- ID: A unique identifier for each company.
- Name: The company’s full name.
- Group Name: The group or umbrella company that the entity belongs to, if applicable.
- Bill to (By service provider): Indicates the party responsible for billing, typically the service provider.
- Service Provider (Expert company): The expert company or service provider associated with the company.
- Country of Establishment: The country where the company is legally established.
- VAT Number: The company’s VAT registration number.
- Short Code: A brief identifier or code assigned to the company for easy reference if applicable.
- Account Manager: The person responsible for managing the company’s account within the system from VAT4U.
- Process Manager: The individual overseeing the processing of VAT claims and expenses.
- Delivery Manager: The person in charge of managing the delivery of services.
- Created Date: The date the company was created in the system.
- Last Modified Date: The most recent date when any information regarding the company was updated.
- Last Claim Created Date: The date of the most recent VAT claim filed for the company.
- Last Expense Created Date: The date of the most recent expense entry created for the company.
- AI Credits Available: The number of AI credits available for the company’s use.
- AI Credits Consumed: The number of AI credits already used by the company.
- Users: A list of users who have access to the company’s information and settings. Click on the number of users to see additional information about their names and roles. You can also quickly revoke access to a user who no longer works at the company right from that place.
- My Role
- Profile: Either regular or demo.
- Status: Indicates whether the company is active or inactive in the system.
Managing Companies: The Actions Button
Each company entry includes an Actions button. When you click on this button, you are redirected to the Home Company Settings tab, where you can configure or update various settings for that company.
The Home Company Settings tab allows you to:
- Edit company details;
- Manage users and their roles;
- Setup billing preferences;
- Configure VAT claims, expense processing, etc.
