Managing Business Partners in Company Settings
Table of Contents
We’re excited to roll out a new feature in Company Settings: Business Partners. It’s a simple but powerful way to keep claims and invoices better organized. With this update, users can now link specific claims and invoices to individual business partners. That means no more digging through unrelated documents — everything is neatly separated and easier to find.
It’s especially useful if users work with multiple partners, since it makes searching for the right files faster and more accurate. If a company changes its business partner later on, existing claims and invoices will stay linked to the original one (unless users decide to update those manually).
Where to Find It
In the Home Company Settings, there is a tab called Business Partners:

Here’s what you can do:
- View a list of all current business partners
- Add a new partner using the Add new business partner button, then click Save
- Edit a partner's name using the pencil icon
- Activate or deactivate a partner using the toggle switch (deactivated partners won’t be available for new claims)
Setting a Business Partner for Invoicing
Under the General Company Settings, you can select one active business partner to be your current partner for invoicing.

This setting allows you to automatically link future claims and invoices to that partner as well as link past claims and invoices to the selected partner too.
Updating Business Partners via Batch Actions
Users can now easily update the business partner for multiple invoices at once using batch actions. To do this, navigate to the Manage Expenses page, select the relevant invoices, click the Batch Actions button, and choose Update Business Partner. From there, select the new business partner you'd like to assign to the selected invoices and confirm the changes.

Users will also see a new Business Partner column in the Manage Expenses view, making it easy to identify which partner is linked to each invoice at a glance:

The Business Partner information is also available in the Manage Claims table:

When a user sets a business partner for a company, all future claims created for that company will automatically be linked to that business partner until the setting is changed. Each claim can only be linked to one business partner at a time. We understand that users might want to link only specific past claims to a business partner instead of applying it to all. However, that level of selective linking isn’t currently available.
