Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. After it's enabled, you'll need to enter a 2FA time-based code along with your regular login details when signing into VAT4U.

To enable two-factor authentication, click on My Account in the top left corner. This will direct you to your account profile, where the Security tab is located.

To activate MFA, start by clicking the Activate button. This will initiate the 2FA activation process and prompt you to set up an authenticator app.

Next, open Google Authenticator on your mobile device. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, you can find it by searching for “Google Authenticator” in the Play Store or App Store. It’s a free app that will help you generate the necessary time-based tokens.

Once you have Google Authenticator installed, scan the provided QR code with the app. This will link your account with the authenticator, enabling the 2FA feature.

You're all set! Your VAT4U account now has added security in place. Make sure to keep your authenticator app handy whenever you log in.
