Whitelabel logo
This is especially useful for Experts who want to control the branding on notifications sent to customers. First, you can customize the logo displayed in the VAT4U application. The logo appears in the top left corner of the app.
For best results, use a PNG file with a 3:1 aspect ratio (horizontal to vertical). The logo should not exceed 256px in width, and larger files will be resized automatically. Once you upload your logo, click “Save Logo.”
Customize your email appearance
Secondly, you can customize your service’s email identity and branding. You can change the name that appears as the sender on emails sent to your customers. For example, if you enter "The Demo Experts," any email sent through the system will display that name as the sender instead of the system’s default identity.
If a customer replies to one of these system-generated emails, you can specify which email
address should receive that reply. Simply enter your email, and replies will be sent there.
You can also add a CC or BCC email to all outgoing emails. This allows you or someone else to receive a copy of every automated email, so you stay informed about all communications sent from the platform.
You can upload your own logo. If you have a white version of your logo, we recommend using it for a cleaner look, but any version can work. Make sure your logo doesn't exceed 150px x 90px dimensions, as it might not look the best in the different email clients.
If you want to change the email’s main color, you can switch from the default blue to any color you prefer. The technical content of the email, such as claim details or refund amounts, is automatically generated by the platform and cannot be changed.
You can adjust a message in the lower part of the email and customize the footer with your contact details. The email footer usually contains service provider legal details. You can also change the footer text color. Once the changes are made, click "Save." Finally, you can send a test email to yourself to check how everything looks before going live.
You can also see a list of all emails sent from the application. Emails can be traced back to 24.10.2022. If you need information about the emails sent prior to this date please open a support ticket. Refresh to view the latest email.
In this section, you can see the details like the subject, recipient, and type of email (activation, claim, query, etc.). You can filter to find specific emails and view non-sensitive content. Please note that password reset emails are protected for security reasons and cannot be previewed.
Customize your query answer template
When using the Query module to handle TAX Administration queries, VAT4U generates the Query answer PDF based on the template you upload here. Upload your template PDF, adjust margins to avoid overlapping with your logo, header, or footer, and use the "Preview Margins" button to check the layout. You can also add page numbers. Once done, click "Save Template" to apply your changes.
