Production Analytics Report
The Production Analytics Report provides a detailed, tabular view of VAT-related data, designed specifically for processing teams. This report offers a comprehensive breakdown of client data, helping VAT experts track progress and focus on key areas for VAT recovery. Unlike VAT Analytics, this report is presented in a simple tabular format without charts.
To focus on specific data, the report offers a range of filters. These can be customized to show only the necessary fields. To toggle between basic and additional filters click "Show additional filters" to view all available filtering options.
Available filters include:
- Invoice Date Range
- Company or Company Group
- Audit Status
- Transaction Type
- Import ID
- Compliance Status
- Country of Establishment
- Country of Refund
- Service Level
- Account Manager
- VAT Service Delivery Manager
- Processing Manager
Users can download this report in Excel format. Click on the small download icon located next to the "Generate Report" button. This export provides a breakdown per selected fields, making it easier to group and analyze VAT data.
Note: When using filters (e.g., Audit Status, Compliance Status, Transaction Type), remember that they will also be applied automatically to the Manage Expense table. This integration helps maintain consistency across data views.
Click on the invoice number to view specific details. This allows you to see the underlying list of invoices associated with that entry.
In the filters, invoices can be categorized by their processing status:
- Ready: These invoices are fully processed and ready for submission.
- Incomplete: These invoices require further work or additional data before submission.
- Excluded: These invoices are not eligible for VAT claims or have been excluded for other reasons.
Sorting by these statuses can help you quickly locate invoices needing further attention.
The Audit Status filter is particularly helpful for identifying invoices that have been verified or not verified:
- Verified: A team member has opened the invoice in the system and clicked on save. This means that a human has in principle verified the invoice.
- Not Verified: These invoices may have been auto-qualified as ready (e.g., when minimal data is required), but may still want a manual review before submission.
The Import ID filter allows users to focus on data from specific import sessions:
- Go to the VAT Recovery module.
- Navigate to the Import List to locate the needed Import ID.
- Copy the ID and use it to filter data within the Production Analytics Report.
