In February 2025, VAT4U rolled out new features that include enhanced document handling, stronger user authentication, and the ability to add fixed parallel fees to invoices for more flexible pricing.
Company Settings - VAT Registrations
We’ve added a small but helpful feature to the VAT Registration section. When a company’s VAT registration is updated, the assigned Delivery Manager (if one is assigned) will automatically be notified. Reminder: You can assign or update a Delivery Manager in the General Company Settings.
Replacing or Removing a Document from an Expense
You can now replace a document in the Data Entry Module while keeping the original for reference. When removing a document, you can either permanently delete it or replace it while storing the original under "Additional Documents" as "Originally Attached Document." This helps with corrections, audits, and compliance by maintaining past records. Changes take effect only after saving the invoice.
User Authentication Settings
VAT4U now allows expert companies to manage user authentication settings directly within the platform. Administrators can enforce mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) and enable email verification, requiring users to enter a six-digit code at login. Users can opt to "Remember this device for 7 days" to reduce verification prompts. These features enhance security, prevent unauthorized access, and give expert companies better control over user authentication.
Parallel Fees for VAT Experts
VAT4U now supports parallel fees, allowing clients with specific pricing requirements to automatically include fixed-price items, like claim handling or bank transfer fees, on every invoice. This feature ensures that such fees are always included, alongside advanced price calculation rules and thresholds, providing a more streamlined and consistent billing process.
